Well not my wedding of course, but a huge deal in my world. I couldn't sleep the night before and all that was on my mind was the wedding. I was asked weeks before the big day, to photograph the numerous guests as they arrived for the big day along with the dish they prepared for their food to pass. These photographs would later on be used in a cook book, I know how exciting?
Getting up early and as I got my self all dressed up, I kept saying to my self, "I got this." All the camera gear in the Porter Case was in the back of the car and my mother, assistant Cindy and myself were on our way.
We were there standing in the driveway once again, I couldn't be happier. All the camera crews and other photographers were there setting up and I felt like I fit in with the crowd. Josh and Brent, and don't forget Önder running around, came over and told us more about the ceremony and where he would like me to stand to get the shots he wanted. It was very creative.
Some celebrities say they don't like the cameras right in their faces but as soon as the crew came towards me, I was ready to sign my name so I can have a T.V show about me.
The Guests started to arrive and the show was beginning. Seeing all the creative dishes and hearing the history behind some of the recipes was the reminder of the day that when a community of people not necessarily in the same state comes together, they can create and add to a celebration that makes it that much more special.
After 250 guests the ceremony began, seeing Josh and Brent smile was the life of the party, and don't forget about the crowd and their mucking boots.
The experience for me was unbelievable and I thank Josh and Brent myself for including me in their special day. Congrats guys!!
